NewlyiPhone & Android

Create an app for iPhone and Android — one build, both stores.

Newly turns your idea into a real native app for the iPhone and the Android phone in your pocket. App Store and Play Store ready, from a single prompt.

The opportunity

Two stores. Billions of phones. One app.

The mobile install base today is enormous. Apple reports 2.5 billion active Apple devices, while Android holds roughly 72% of the global mobile OS market across ~3.9 billion devices.

If your app only ships to one of those, it ignores most of the market. Newly is built so a single project ships to both.

One codebase

The same stack the world’s best apps run on.

Newly builds on React Native and Expo — the proven path for shipping a single TypeScript project that runs natively on both iPhone and Android. Not a webview, not a wrapper. Real native UI.

You don’t have to take our word for it. The world’s biggest mobile apps already run on it.

Compliance

Built to pass App Review and Google Play.

Building the app is no longer the hard part. Getting it approved is. Newly is the first end-to-end app builder that bakes store-readiness into every step.

Apple App Store

Apple reviews every app against the App Review Guidelines across Safety, Performance, Business, Design, and Legal. Newly checks your build against these as you go — privacy strings, account deletion, in-app purchase rules, design minimums, and more.

Read App Review Guidelines

Google Play

Google Play enforces the Developer Program Policies — restricted content, privacy, monetization, SDK usage, and store listing rules. Newly walks you through Data Safety, Play Console requirements, and policy-sensitive areas before submission.

How it works

From a single prompt to two live apps.

01

Describe your app

One prompt. One paragraph. Newly turns it into a working iOS and Android app with screens, navigation, and a real backend.

02

Preview live on your iPhone and Android

Every change is reflected instantly on a real device through Expo. iPhone and Android, side by side, the entire build.

03

Get it ready for the App Store and Play Store

Newly walks you through screenshots, privacy policy, terms of service, App Privacy answers, Data Safety, age rating, and metadata.

04

Submit and ship

We handle the iOS .ipa and Android .aab build, signing, and submission to App Store Connect and Google Play Console.

iPhone & Android equally

No second-class platform.

Most cross-platform tools quietly favour one platform. Newly treats iPhone and Android as first-class from the very first keystroke.

  • Real iOS .ipa and Android .aab outputs — not a single web wrapper
  • Platform-aware UI: iOS feels like iOS, Android feels like Android
  • Push notifications, deep links, and over-the-air updates on both
  • Apple App Privacy answers and Google Play Data Safety form, side by side
  • Live preview on a real iPhone and a real Android phone at the same time

FAQ

Common questions about building for both stores.

Is this one app or two?

It is one project with one codebase that produces two real native apps — an iOS app for the App Store and an Android app for the Google Play Store. The same logic and design power both.

Are these real native apps or wrappers?

Real native. Newly builds on React Native and Expo — the same stack used by Meta, Microsoft, Shopify, and Discord in production. The output is a true iOS .ipa and Android .aab, not a webview shell.

Will my app be approved by Apple and Google?

Newly is designed to ship apps that can pass review. We bake the App Review Guidelines and Google Play Developer Program Policies into the build process — privacy strings, account deletion, monetization rules, and metadata are checked before you submit.

Do I need an Apple Developer account and Google Play Console account?

Yes — Apple charges $99/year for the Apple Developer Program and Google charges a one-time $25 for a Play Console account. These are the legal accounts under which your app is published. Newly handles everything in between.

Can I export the code if I want to?

Yes. You own the source code and can export it to GitHub. There is no vendor lock-in — your app keeps running even if you cancel.
